Slospeak Records just announced the November 27th release of Slospeak Christmas Volume 1. The 12 track sampler features classic Christmas tunes re-recorded to showcase each artists' style. In addition to Slospeak artists and other indie acts, Relient K (Mono vs Stereo), House of Heroes (Gotee Records), Deas Vail (Mono vs Stereo) and Matt Shelton (of The Wedding / Tooth&Nail) contribute songs to the album.
To preview the record, Slospeak will offer two songs on noisetrade, free of charge, on Black Friday and two more on Cyber Monday. Starting Tuesday, the album will only be available on iTunes.
This is the label's first Christmas volume and definitely won't be the last. "We're excited to bring together the Slospeak bands and both our signed and unsigned musician friends. We're especially thankful to Gottee Records for their participation," says Label Manager Davy Baysinger.
